woot, good to know they're starting to ship now
<drmpeg>
Mine was from the Kickstarter. 8GB
<drmpeg>
I actually received it last week, but I had to collect all the extra stuff to get it going. USB-C power supply and cable, TTL to USB converter and cable and some brass stand-offs.
<muurkha>
nice, drmpeg!

It's even working with a big 128GB sd card that I had.
<drmpeg>
But I'm running headless, so it doesn't matter for me.
<muurkha>
I do that every time someone beheads me.
<muurkha>
It freaks them out every time.

does visionfive V2 use mainline kernel (I doubt) or some from starfive repos (just curious, I don't have VF v2)

<Esmil>
mps: StarFive sent a lot of patches for the jh7110 and vf2 that i'm trying to merge into something working, but no usb or pcie yet. so most likely their 5.15 kernel is the best option for now
<mps>
Esmil: thanks for info
<mps>
so, v2 have PCIE?
<Esmil>
yes
<mps>
I geuss for m2 interface
<Esmil>
the vf2 has an m2 connector, but i think the pine64 may do it differently
<Esmil>
s/pine64/star64/
<mps>
Esmil: thanks again for info (and for your work ofc)
<Stat_headcrabed>
Btw, this PCIe supports cache coherence
<Stat_headcrabed>
So even external GPUs are supported.

A question: what does S7 core actually do in U74-MC?
