the esp32c3? it's a pretty interesting SOC and they moved away from the weird instruction set of the old esp32

ah the C3 - what I've been looking at for some time. it's an almsot exact fit for what I'm after right now.

it's another SoC with "too much" on-board but other than rolling my own, finding it hard to get a little RV-32 system that's in-between the 32KB µC or 2+GB Linux system ...

intersting to see Adafrout stock it - I did think they'd be a bit too wedded to the ARM/Pi type things for a long time. Quite happy about that now, as I'm sure some UK stockists of Adafruit things will now take it on.
