Hi, I want to contribute to the issue Mean-shift clustering method #352
< JaraxussTong>
I wonder if this feature will be accepted if I just implement basic MS algorithm rather than DTMS.

hi. im just curious what are the key differences between svm and mlpack. i recognized that mlpack does have inbuilt regression analyses which is great. can i also train the dataset or classifier?
< naywhayare>
I don't understand your question... svm is a type of classifier, and mlpack is a library
< naywhayare>
do you mean libsvm?
< cult->
yes
< naywhayare>
libsvm is specialized for support vector machines, but mlpack does not have an implementation of support vector machines
< naywhayare>
that would be the key difference
< cult->
thank you
< cult->
may i also ask what are the differences between covariance and logistic regression?
< cult->
which one is more suitable for what.
< naywhayare>
I don't know how to answer that question
< naywhayare>
the covariance of a dataset is a matrix, but logistic regression is a technique
