The problem is, many so called 'safe' languages still have memory safety exploits. Java in 2020 with CVE-2020-2803, Rust recently CVE-2021-28879, Go last year: CVE-2021-38297. Python the same: CVE-2021-3177.

The only language with significant use I could find that did not have any memory safety issues in the past 5 years, is PHP. PHP has shown excellence in memory model and despite being the language that is the most exposed on the web, it has simply been flawless.

I suggest we start replacing all Rust code with PHP, and also replace the Linux Kernel with a more modern PHP kernel.
