<sh1> So, does anybody have any opinions on 10 @nd0=[nd0.0 nd0.1 nd0.2 nd0.3 nd0.4 nd0.5 nd0.6 nd0.7 nd0.8 nd0.9];
<sh1> 11 @nd1=[nd1.0 nd1.1 nd1.2 nd1.3 nd1.4 nd1.5 nd1.6 nd1.7 nd1.8 nd1.9];
<sh1> oops.
<sh1> 12 @nd2=[nd2.0 nd2.1 nd2.2 nd2.3 nd2.4 nd2.5 nd2.6 nd2.7 nd2.8 nd2.9];
<sh1> Opinions on https://codeberg.org/dnkl/foot/issues/1449 ? Shunting digits around a teeny tiny bit to create gaps between groups of three digits, so that numbers are easier to read?
<brocellous> not interested.
<Allie> sh1: i don't like the idea of the terminal implying characters that don't exist in the content
<dnkl> sh1: you'll either have to insert cells with spaces (or a separator character), or move the glyphs within their cells. Neither approach will work.
<sh1> Moving the glyphs within their cells is a bit ugly, but it does work. That's what I'm doing on Terminal.app right now.
<sh1> I'm from the "thin-space-for-thousand-separators" camp, myself, so have no concerns with pseudo-glyphs being wedged in between. Some people do like commas, though.
<sh1> Looks like this: https://ibb.co/nQbPHvm That's just me hacking around with fonts, though. I think I'll have to make it a bit more subtle than that.
<sh1> (green square is the block cursor, showing where the character cell actually is)
<sh1> How about as a separate display mode, like url mode?
