<davidlt[m]> I am happy to announced that package list for F38/Rawhide is synced from upstream Koji.
<davidlt[m]> All our F37 builds are tagged for F38/Rawhide.
<davidlt[m]> The Rawhide path will begin either very late today, or tomorrow. GCC 13!
<somlo> davidlt[m]: nice! can you link me to where the latest kernel SRPM lives, so I may try its .config (instead of working with the f37 release) when debugging on litex/rocket?
<somlo> ok, thanks -- and if/when you update it, it's going to be in that general "neighborhood", I assume
<davidlt[m]> yeah
<davidlt[m]> If for Fedora 37, the same location.
<davidlt[m]> If F38/Rawhide, the branch will change. Either "rawhide"/"main" or "f38-build" once forked.
<somlo> right, makes sense
<somlo> I'll start tinkering with it once my slide deck "stabilizes" a bit :)
<davidlt[m]> ops, "f38-riscv64"
<davidlt[m]> Mixing with Koji tag/releases.
<davidlt[m]> somlo: I am enjoying myself trying to find AirBnb/Hotel :)
<davidlt[m]> Hate this part.
<somlo> at leat (I assume) you've done this before -- I'm a total n00b when it comes to Brussels :)
<davidlt[m]> I am at almost ~10 years probably of FOSDEM :)
<davidlt[m]> I am on CentOS Connect on Friday, then to FOSDEM, then to Config Management conf.
<somlo> that's... impressive :)
<davidlt[m]> somlo: did you pick something already?
<davidlt[m]> somlo: don't expect public transport to be a good option to travel to FOSDEM :)
<davidlt[m]> That many folks don't fit it in anything (expect ULB campus).

<somlo> I found a hotel apparently 1.7 km walking distance from campus (ibis center chatelain or something like that)
<davidlt[m]> I think, I know it.
<somlo> walking distance so I won't have to reverse engineer transportation on short notice :)
<davidlt[m]> Yeah, that's a good spot for walking.
<davidlt[m]> And it's towards city center too.
<ol> I advise you guys to find accomodation closer to Delirium Pub, not ULB. At least, you'll be able to commute to/from ULB when you're sober.
<somlo> commuting from the pub back to my room sounds like a better optimization criterion :P
<davidlt[m]> Well, I do a lot of walking :)
<davidlt[m]> I don't drink that much, thus I am fine :)
<ol> And transportation is not a problem at all in Brussels. FOSDEM site has very good instructions.
<davidlt[m]> I mean getting on the tram/bus is basically impossible. It's fully packed to insanity :)
<ol> davidlt[m]: Also, take into account that you'll be returning from ULB not very late, when public transportation works. This is not the case with Delirium Pub.
<davidlt[m]> That I know ;) By experience.
<ol> davidlt[m]: Not a problem when you avoid peak times.
<ol> Also, if you find bus 71 too crowded, you can walk one block from ULB to nortn-east and take bus 95. Alternatively, you can take tram 25 and switch to metro 1 at Montgomery station.
<ol> * Montgomery station. Or tram 8 and switch to metro at Louise.
