<ljavorsk> davidlt[m]: So will I be able to scratch-build one package?
<ljavorsk> Or how does it work when the FAS is not integrated?

<davidlt[m]> ljavorsk: directly talking to Fdora/RISCV Koji -- no. We have no integration with upstream Koji infra today.
<davidlt[m]> ljavorsk: if you have a build NVR (URL basically) or dist-git URL some folks can queue it for you. Just drop us information on Matrix/IRC (i.e. here).
<davidlt[m]> rwmjones: I saw it while traveling, but pretty much everything was answered in the thread.
<davidlt[m]> Technically they do have these 16-core chips (announced sometime last year IIRC), but there is some export restriction too (unknown what that means).

<ljavorsk1> davidlt[m]: I have this PR ready, and I need to scratch-build it on the risc-v arch, could you please queue it for me?
<davidlt[m]> ljavorsk1: maybe you have a scratch build URL on main koji?
<ljavorsk1> The scratch-builds for other arches are here: https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=95512414
<davidlt[m]> O would just copy dist-git URL :)

<ljavorsk1> is the provided scratch-build enough? davidlt[m]
<davidlt[m]> checking, this seams to be CLI SRPM build.
<davidlt[m]> just give me a minute

<davidlt[m]> Just trying to understand how to create the URL :)
<davidlt[m]> By default it should work, scm rules allow anything under src.fedoraproject.org
iooi has joined #fedora-riscv
<davidlt[m]> assuming I didn't make a mistake in SRC URL
<davidlt[m]> I will ping you once there are results
<ljavorsk1> I'm not sure how to make it either, but it looks good to me at the first glance
<ljavorsk1> Thank you davidlt[m]
<davidlt[m]> I bumped the priority, so it should pick it up next

<davidlt[m]> ljavorsk1: SCM rules didn't allow forks, so I just merge it locally and cooked SRPM, submitted that.
<davidlt[m]> Didn't check there were was a merge conflict

<ljavorsk1> davidlt[m]: There shouldn't be any merge conflicts
<davidlt[m]> I just checked outed dist-git (rawhide branch), added your fork, merged your fork's rawhide -> rawhide.
<davidlt[m]> Merge conflict
<davidlt[m]> I think your branch does incl. Fedora release engineering bump commit from last mass rebuild
<davidlt[m]> PASS: pcre2_jit_test

<somlo> davidlt[m]: I'm wondering (for after FOSDEM) how I could speed up debugging kernel builds -- on qemu it takes me about 24-48 hours for one "iteration"
<somlo> I wonder if using `ARCH=riscv CROSS_COMPILE=riscv64-unknown-linux-gnu-` would allow me to at least build the kernel and modules on an Intel box
<somlo> and then move that over to the qemu riscv fedora machne only for the `make install` dracut part of the process
