<farkuhar> SiFuh: i still haven't started the wayland wiki article, but i made space for it on my schedule by finally writing up the wiki article on git port repositories. Feedback and corrections are welcome. https://crux.nu/Wiki/SettingUpAGitRepo
<SiFuh> my .ssh/config has only 3 lines. Host, PreferredAuthentications and IdentityFile
<SiFuh> I wish this was available when i was setting up my repos
<SiFuh> farkuhar: Not sure if it is relevant now because of the changes they both went through but I had to manually configure mine with to change from https to ssh
<SiFuh> I also remember having to do it with github as well
<farkuhar> SiFuh: thanks for the code snippet. I think ssh public key authentication is supported out-of-the-box on both github and gitlab, so a first-time user doesn't need to be shown the https stuff, in the interest of keeping it simple.
<SiFuh> Yeah I think it is too now.
<SiFuh> I didn't find any issues with your wiki.
<farkuhar> I'll comment out the extraneous lines of .ssh/config, though. Some git servers will need the extra directives, but your three lines should suffice for everyone else.
<SiFuh> Maybe check what other guys have in theirs?
<farkuhar> Yup, good idea. And now that one wiki page has been checked off my TODO list, I can get around to the wayland wiki that much sooner.
<SiFuh> Well I have a question. Is there a wiki on creating the key?
<SiFuh> That way you won't need to write a wiki on it

<cruxbot> [contrib.git/3.6]: doxygen: 1.9.5
<farkuhar> Heh, i just noticed that openjdk rearranged its shared libraries sometime between versions 11 and 16. In version 11 they dedicated a whole directory to the file libjli.so, and hence /etc/revdep.d/openjdk11-jdk needed three lines. In openjdk16 the revdep.d file still has three lines, but one of them is superfluous.
