<elderK>
Hey guys, just wanted to report an issue with two ports: babl and ncpamixer.
<elderK>
ncpamixer's problem is simple: ccmake is being invoked from the Pkgfile. If you remove that, it builds happily.
<elderK>
As for babl, it seems there's something busted upstream as it's using a directive incorrectly according to meson.

farkuhar: :-) Got a friend who uses artix and during an update awhile back syslinux is now all over the place. They have /boot/syslinux/syslinux.cfg and /boot/efi/boot/syslinux.cfg and now the poor dude has no idea why
<SiFuh>
He did a system update yesterday and now it won't boot
<SiFuh>
The failsafe kernel is the same kernel that is the one that was updated. :-P
<farkuhar>
SiFuh: much as I respect the Artix devs for figuring out how to strip the systemd components from Arch, their ultimate dependence on Arch's bleeding-edge repositories makes such a system too vulnerable to breakage, as your friend learned the hard way.
<SiFuh>
farkuhar: 100% agree. I guided him through the repair and then had him create a failsafe kernel and add it in syslinux
<SiFuh>
He says "Maybe I should try OpenBSD, can you sell it to me?" and I replied "I don't have your problems"
<SiFuh>
He just ran a test upgrade again and it never creates a fallback kernel. Only a fallback initramfs.
<leah2>
it uses the same kernel
<SiFuh>
And then deletes the previous kernels /lib/modules folder
<leah2>
yes
<leah2>
also the previous kernel :D
<SiFuh>
Yeah that we know, and that is kind of silly :-P
<leah2>
agree
<leah2>
you can install a lts kernel if you want an option for a downgrade
<SiFuh>
Will look into that. There is a 5.12.12-artix1-1 though
