dlcusa: I have happened upon the first link before
<dlcusa>
I like the readthedocs.io domain (always thought RTFM should be a TLD).
<SiFuh>
Heh wonder if that is where the English word hag comes from 'haggedolah'
<dlcusa>
Could be.

That new fmt update has been a pain. Completely ruined my gnuradio port. I was waiting for someone to make a patch but no one seems to have done so. Anyway, looks like my patch works.

I don't believe it can be built on a non-CRUX system

SiFuh: that link pulls up an older (unmaintained?) wiki page. The newer one is here, https://crux.nu/Wiki/OfficialISOBuildProcess , and it says "Everything in the process is possible on a non-CRUX system"
<SiFuh>
farkuhar: Yeah, lazy to search. But I am hinting that if you are going to mention the burning iso part you might want a link to it or something similar
<SiFuh>
Just skimmed through it and it seems to be okay until you hit the NOTE: section and anything under it before BOOTSTRAP.
<SiFuh>
jaeger: can verify that as I have never done any of that
<SiFuh>
He's always refining and perfecting it, and I think it is much easier now since 3.5

I should review and update that latter link, will add that to my list
<SiFuh>
It is pretty good already. I used the Makefile myself to figure it out
<SiFuh>
I like the simplicity of it. Would be nice if we can have a make USB option later on but not using an ISO filesystem. That way can be easily modified on the fly and also not using a limited kernel.
<SiFuh>
As I mentioned before I have one, just got a few tiny issues to iron out
<SiFuh>
I doubt I have the idea ready for 3.7 so no worries, work in progress
