Subaru does not even sell the WRX in Europe anymore. Heck every family car has more horse power today, they aid in making my citron plantation in sibiria possible
<stenur>
That is, i stopped looking that stuff long ago; the last i saw as such was that Swedish Subaru driver presenting the WRX with ~305 PS, that must have been around hm .. 2010?

I totally hated Audi once again kicking into a fun area with a law gap, bringing their Quattros in the 80s!
<stenur>
Ah, and how i loved once Lancia came with that fantastic car, and i think Audi had only one or two wins ever since.
<stenur>
But the thing was dead (to me). Before private teams had a regular chance, by then only massive money and development.
<stenur>
I remember Rally Monte Carlo with Mini and even Wartburg Trabant, the former with private drivers. And it rocked!!
<stenur>
I mean, you know. In "free" TV of public law, without any advertisings. Maybe a bit on the cars and the overalls, i have forgotten. But sure.

subaru 2.5L boxer engine is lovely, but expensive
<ocb>
have one boxer 1.7L in my alfa 33 1989 but needs a full engine rebuild :(
<ocb>
the engine isn't a problem, have spare parts ready but getting twin carbs work on it is quite demanding for my knowledge. :(
<ocb>
might take some weeks and finish it this spring :))

ocb: ah lovely Alfa! Good luck!!!
<stenur>
It is a pity what they did to that. This western world drives me grazy. Beauty and that, it does not matter. "Cold comfort for change", yuck.

Btw if anyone is actually using my entropy-saver.c, i have adjusted it to work with kernels which do not decrement /proc/sys/kernel/random/entropy_avail when reading from /dev/random.
<stenur>
Interesting coincidence, i was only updating copyright to 2022 and came along trying it out.
<stenur>
"Kernel developer i (do not, actually) know". I was banging my head against the wall of those chinese-named ones from Realtek like grazy.
<stenur>
Good night you all, 'off for potato peeling.
<stenur>
Ah Alfa. Ach, i hate it. And they now have to use the front wheel base from Stellantis again, all those nifty engineering things, all gone but Italian Design.
<stenur>
Heck i should take remaining family money and buy Opel Insignia GSI (GM platform though) or Alfa Romeo Giulia, before it is too late. But no, i will not.

'Night.

stenur: thanks! prepared DRLA 40's instead of old 36's, more fuel, more air, more power. ;) but issues getting dem carbs work as they should, need a fucking magician.
<ocb>

<ocb>
