<doodaadoo81> hello @ll. Sorry for maybe dumb question but I have following issue: I have an old raspberry pi with outdated Armbian Jessie installation. I wanted to install some packages but its not possible because this is end-of-support and the repository is not there any more. Is there any quick fix I could do for installing a few packages? Security for that particular host is not important for me. How can I bring this rpi
<Armbian-Discord>
back again so I can run apt-get update and apt-get install ? any help appreciated
<archetech>
backup your home and do a fresh jammy install
<Armbian-Discord>
<doodaadoo81> cannot do this, the host is remote and not accessible for me at the moment

<klippercanbushero> I have Armbian running on a Orange Pi Zero 2. I would like to use it for Klipper but I am missing the gs_usb canbus driver modul. Do I need to compile the whole kernel for that? The module is in /usr/src/linux-source-4.9.255-sun50iw9/drivers/net/can/usb

<TheBug> Well I would say you could get the kernel source and user the .config in /boot to build old config and then just go add your needed module from there and build the modules for the kernel, in some cases you can do this without kicking off a full build...
<Armbian-Discord>
<klippercanbushero> @TheBug I did that and the dirver was build as gs_usb.o which I cannot install as module. What am I missing?

<steev>
it should build a .ko somewhere which is a loadable module
