for some reason the meson64 defconfigs have rockchip enabled in the platform. not sure why that, but I bet its not helping with the kernel size.

yea... i understand that.. just puzzled at the decision to compile in a PCIe ethernet driver, while the on-SoC ethernet driver is a module *shrugs*

ACPI and PCI are needed for Odroid HC4 support, if you want to boot the device from SPI with the OS installed on a SATA drive

If you want to thin the defconfig out a bit, borrow the LE defconfig and add back anything else you need
