Setting up gnupg-utils, gpg-agent, gpgsm, dirmngr, gpg-wks-server, gpg-wks-client, gnupg, gnupg2, ....etc dpkg: cannot write to log file '/var/log/dpkg.log': No space left on device ??? nonsence, but why? E: lzma_write: Write error (0) /var/log/dpkg.log 0

Werner: /var/log/dpkg.log is 0 !! du
<aasami_>
0 /var/log/dpkg.log
<Armbian-Discord>
<Werner> Yes, probably because there is no space left on the drive to write any data to that file...
<Armbian-Discord>
<Tenkawa> is this a raspberry pi?
<Armbian-Discord>
<Tenkawa> no.. thats not
<Armbian-Discord>
<Tenkawa> your syslog/klogd is setup to write to ram only it appears
<Armbian-Discord>
<Tenkawa> @Werner is this normal?
<Armbian-Discord>
<Tenkawa> I just started building images with Armbian's builder so I don't know the defaults..
<Armbian-Discord>
<Werner> Yes. Armbian uses a ramdisk for logs to drastically increase lifetime of sd card. Logs are usually flushed periodically to sd
<Armbian-Discord>
<Tenkawa> I know ours doesn't so I don't have any data
<Armbian-Discord>
<Tenkawa> Ah
<Armbian-Discord>
<Werner> If there is a service that creates tons of logs size increase might be necessary

Werner: sysstat? Quite fat ...
<Armbian-Discord>
<Tenkawa> just increasing that service mount or figuring or the source of the log activity sounds like the two likely best options.. finding the source of all the writes to the files being the best "in my opinion"
<Armbian-Discord>
<Tenkawa> If there is that much activity is it expected or not?
<aasami_>
Armbian-Discord: Thinking it over ... There really is activity...
<Armbian-Discord>
<Werner> zram sizes can be adjusted in /etc/default/armbian....

Armbian-Discord: OK! Trying to do so! Another question: • sysstat.service loaded failed failed Resets System Activity Logs
