<Armbian-Discord> <Jason123> Well the issue comes from suspend to idle
<Armbian-Discord> <Jason123> suspend to ram needs to be used
<Armbian-Discord> <Jason123> Something to do with trusted firmware A in the bootloader
<Armbian-Discord> <Jason123> And nvme ssd does not work

<Armbian-Discord> <Tonymac32> @Jason123 let me check the revision of ATF we are using, this fix is in 2.6.
<Armbian-Discord> <Tonymac32> ok we are still on 2.5, however in light of 3 bugfixes/improvements for RK3399 in there we should look at bumping it. @IgorPec let me know what you think when you get up 😄
<Armbian-Discord> <lanefu> Bug fixes are good lol
<Armbian-Discord> <Tonymac32> lpddr4 ones especially
<Armbian-Discord> <Tonymac32> So @lanefu something about RK3288 for you to digest: https://github.com/ARM-software/arm-trusted-firmware/commit/780e3f24553ef4dd177b7278bbfef30053de1656
<ArmbianHelper> ^ rockchip: add support for rk3288 · ARM-software/arm-trusted-firmware@780e3f2 · GitHub
<Armbian-Discord> <Tonymac32> apparently it can use psci to enable and disable cores/etc if you use ARM ATF
<Armbian-Discord> <Tonymac32> no ATF love for the RK35xx yet. A shame
<Armbian-Discord> <lanefu> Does that pcsi magic apply to rk3399? No 3288 devices in my world
Dagger has quit [Ping timeout: 250 seconds]
<Armbian-Discord> <Tonymac32> I'm not sure why it wouldn't, the RK3399 is actually better supported
<Armbian-Discord> <Tonymac32> since aarch64 is a far more traditional target
<Armbian-Discord> <Tonymac32> 32 bits ATF is weird 😄
<Armbian-Discord> <lanefu> So ELIF how ATF makes my SBC work better than without it
<Armbian-Discord> <lanefu> Normalizes some low level system calls for mainline?
<archetech> you 2 never talk about your D2000 boxen I'm gonna have to conficate them for lack of reports
<archetech> confiscate*
<Armbian-Discord> <Tonymac32> @lanefu ja
<Armbian-Discord> <Tonymac32> archetech I have been moving into a new house, things have been crazy, I need to find my D2000 and put it to work
<archetech> bigger or smaller house
<archetech> \/me likes his 700 sq ft
<Armbian-Discord> <Tonymac32> bigger, moved north a bit
<Armbian-Discord> <Tonymac32> wife and kids are pleased
<archetech> good man
<archetech> keep the times in mind too though
<Armbian-Discord> <lanefu> I'm dying to get d2000 back on bench
<Armbian-Discord> <lanefu> Xiaoji gave me some patches to awaken the NIC
<archetech> I enjoy havin diff boxes to crank up for variety is all
<Armbian-Discord> <Tonymac32> that one has some HP, but the UEFI is a little shaky IMHO
<archetech> soon asa few rk3588's start getting out we can have some bench mark compares
<Armbian-Discord> <Tonymac32> Day 15: I finally found a second mouse. Things are looking up
<Armbian-Discord> <Tonymac32> I actually just ordered 4 super cheap logitech ones from amazon, so I can saturate my environment with them
<Armbian-Discord> <lanefu> I do the same thing with tape measures rather than mice
<Armbian-Discord> <lanefu> Arch I'm with ya man I look forward to have them side by side on the bench
<Armbian-Discord> <lanefu> Where I'll then delay another month
<Armbian-Discord> <Tonymac32> sigh I need to set up a board as a wifi bridge :/
<Armbian-Discord> <Tonymac32> my ubuntu box doesn't have any wifi drivers and I am far from a port
<Armbian-Discord> <lanefu> LOL
<Armbian-Discord> <lanefu> Connect to wifi then apt.indtsll bridge-utils
<Armbian-Discord> <lanefu> Then brctl your way through the interfaces
<Armbian-Discord> <lanefu> If you're already familiar with it I apologize
<Armbian-Discord> <lanefu> Fortunately you're not known for a fragile ego
<Armbian-Discord> <Tonymac32> rofl I have never had to do this before so thank you
<Armbian-Discord> <lanefu> Okay that was my hunch
<Armbian-Discord> <IgorPec> Bump it Tony!

<schwarz_Kat> IgorPec: While researching options for disabling TX ofload, I found a thread on the forums for Helios that talked about xhci trb quirk in rockchip64-current. I followed it to this commit, https://github.com/armbian/build/commit/8eece74eb581367625e6ebcc12ee5c6f4f44617c
<ArmbianHelper> ^ Re-enabled accidentally disabled xhci trb quirk in rockchip64-current · armbian/build@8eece74 · GitHub
<schwarz_Kat> The quirk is currently funcional for dwc3 xhci usb on rockchip64. This is the USB used by the r8153b nic. It appears that the quirk may not have been applied to rk3328 in the past, so I tried including it in rk3328.dtsi, and it fixed the bug and worked very well with the mainline drivers on 5.15, 5.16 and 5.17. This means that it is not necessary to revert the driver to the one in 5.10.
<schwarz_Kat> I have updated AR-1172 and will prepare a PR to add the quirk into rk3328.dtsi
<ArmbianHelper> AR-1172 [Bug] "Load induced RX bug in the r8152 driver on 5.15 and 5.16" reported by Kat Schwarz at 2022-05-03. Status: In Progress
