uvos: if I call the droid 4 and don't pick up, but instead hang up from the calling side and the droid 4 side at the same time, sphone vibratres for a while more and then says that it could not hang up through ofono

yeah it's in sphone I think
<arno11>
and iirc, that's because ofono signals don't work once source/sink has been stopped. So sphone couldn't hang up through ofono lol
<Wizzup_>
right

<maxwelld>
how to choose a default browser in leste?
<maxwelld>
if i tap on the link ff opens and it is too much for d4.
<Wizzup_>
try
<Wizzup_>
xdg-settings set default-web-browser qtwebbrowser.desktop
<Wizzup_>
I don't know if qtwebbrowser handles the argv[1] url though
<maxwelld>
oh
<maxwelld>
the latter command doesnt show me neither netsurf nor qtwebbrowser
<Wizzup_>
does for me, hm

Wizzup: repoed the sphone problem, im not sure how to fix it really. so there is a delay between when the remote party hangs up and sphone gets the signal that the call ended
<_uvos_>
during this time hanging up the call fails (presumably because the modem goes: nope) also with ofono-scripts
<_uvos_>
im not sure how sphone can avoid this problem, besides checking for this condition and letting the error slide maybe

uvos: or maybe wait ~500ms before issuing hangup
<maxwelld>
uvos, i pray every two days for universe to make you install cyanogen mode on d3.

What do you think of updating qtwebengine's chromium for security reasons?
<Wizzup_>
arno11: regarding having cmt_speech run in background, I think it's not as hard as you think
<Wizzup_>
I can probably do this some time soon, we could also have the same init script maybe load nokia-modem for now

Wizzup_: according to this https://wiki.qt.io/QtWebEngine/Rebase_on_New_Chromium they do some patching(and have tools to perform patching). However, Qt5 is still getting updates, therefore you can just update qtwebengine from upstream
<le0nklcpp>
was getting updates, EOL in May, two weeks old
Twig has quit [Remote host closed the connection]
<Wizzup_>
le0nklcpp: ok, so would you like me to do that rebase?
<Wizzup_>
I can probably do it this weekend
<le0nklcpp>
at this moment it should be enough to upload qtwebengine source code from debian
