<uvos>
the argument thing happens only when launched with terminal
<uvos>
so its something with that
pere has joined #maemo-leste
<uvos>
its osso-xterm stripping the arguments
<uvos>
not h-d
<uvos>
gtk-launch works because it uses xterm

<uvos>
so how dose quilt work?
<uvos>
i can build neverball by cloning upstream git and adding, modifed debian directory
<uvos>
but the upstream debian package uses quilt to keep the source and debian directory seperate
<uvos>
id perfer to do the same
<uvos>
but im not sure how to make it work (ie how to even build upstreams pacakge)
<Wizzup>
sorry, I have no idea how to make quilt behave
<uvos>
ie they have neverball_1.6.0+git20180603-2.debian.tar.xz and neverball_1.6.0+git20180603.orig.tar.xz, i if place neverball_1.6.0+git20180603.orig.tar.xz in ../ and extract debian.tar.xz it builds
<uvos>
but how dose this work in ci?
<uvos>
who fetches neverball_1.6.0+git20180603.orig.tar.xz
<uvos>
(i dont care who makes it since i want to use upstreams, as the diff between neverball and neverball-gles is just build options)
<Wizzup>
ci only builds from tags/branches
<uvos>
hm ok
<uvos>
having neverball cloned in git just for leste to change debian/rules seams a bit unfortionate
<Wizzup>
well CI still needs a git repo in any case
<Wizzup>
I would not expect us to be able to package things from random sources
