<dsimic> naoki: I noticed "add missing --- in commit message" in one of your changelogs, so I wanted to point out that the patch notes, in general, should go into the Git commit notes, which get converted automatically into the patch notes when the .patch files are generated
<dsimic> see git-notes(1) for more details
<dsimic> following that approach, everything fits naturally, or better said, the way Git was designed to work :)
<dsimic> similarly, cover letters for patch series should go into branch descriptions
<dsimic> s/said, the way/said, fits the way/

<naoki> well
<naoki> I understand I don't know well about git
<dsimic> FWIW, I'm still learning Git :)
<dsimic> despite even contributing patches to it
<naoki> now I'm holding my head to enable wlan on OpenWrt...
<naoki> phy0 available, wlan0 not available...why...

<anarsoul> hey folks, it looks like something between 6.9.3 and 6.9.8 breaks eMMC on rock64 (RK3328). Any ideas what might be wrong?
erg_ has joined #linux-rockchip
<anarsoul> diederik: thanks!
<anarsoul> that was fast :)
<diederik> yeah, I've had a focus on Rock64/RK3328 lately, so that patch (and the previous one) was on my radar
<anarsoul> great, it's nice someone is focusing on this board :)
<diederik> With the latest patches, I have no more errors in dmesg :)
<anarsoul> I guess I'll wait for 6.9.10 to update
<diederik> This is with patches that should land in 6.11-rc1, so you'll have to wait a bit more ;-P
