<macromorgan> quick question... I was having issues on my RK3588S device with WiFi until I set the pins to pull_up (matching the BSP stuff). Should we set the sdio pins across the board that way? I can test on other devices if need be.

<CounterPillow> naoki: mipi csi not rk356x is not in a usable state, no.
<CounterPillow> the ISP needs a driver

<diederik> macromorgan: It seems mainline's settings came from an earlier BSP version, but https://github.com/rockchip-linux/kernel/commit/b96485b7af46a99c14f3c4818eb18c7836eb809c changed it from pull_none to pull_up
<diederik> So if it actually/also demonstratably improves things (even better if validated across more devices) ... then I see no reason not to propose it?

<wens> naoki: last I checked it's missing MIPI CSI stuff. only the parallel interface is currently supported
<wens> the ISP can be bypassed though
<naoki> hmm, thanks

<CounterPillow> If you bypass the ISP with a real camera sensor the picture is gonna be unusable

<macromorgan> so for one device I'm working on (Gameforce Ace) setting the SDIO to pull up demonstrably improves things... wifi goes from not working to working. For another device (Indiedroid Nova) it does not appear to have any impact which is good since the device was already working to begin with.
<macromorgan> I'll add this to my Gameforce Ace pull request

<CounterPillow> Did gameforce ever publish kernel sources?
<CounterPillow> I asked iirc but they never replied
<linkmauve> I just tried to test rocket, I built the kernel driver, rebased, fixed and built the Mesa MR, but I’m stuck at getting tflite running on my Python version.
<linkmauve> They only provide binaries up to Python 3.11 it seems, and my distribution only provides 3.12.

<macromorgan> I'm struggling to get USB-PD to work right now, because I have no idea how it works... I wrote a custom bq25703 driver I'm also in the process of trying to make mainline ready.

<CounterPillow> macromorgan: ty, don't have the money to buy one right now but I was intrigued by the hardware
<macromorgan> I have a 90% complete device tree I've been sitting on for months... the main blockers for me was non-working wifi (which is now fixed) and non working USB-PD (which I'm still fighting)
<macromorgan> have no idea how it's even "supposed" to work. I have a charger that can do 12v, and this device should be able to do 12v, but it won't do 12v...
