f_: thanks for the .dts patch :-) just when I hit reply I saw your doubts about the PWM warning from Rob: it's related to the &pwm_ef comment I gave in my mail
<f_>
xdarklight: I suppose the pwm driver improvements are not yet in a stable release at this time?
<f_>
for USB, I believe the whole setup I have is .. let's say super hacky. Basically I have a micro-USB to USB-A adapter, to which I have a regular USB hub, and I basically power the stick using a USB-A cable connected to the hub.
<xdarklight>
f_: indeed, the PWM changes are only queued up for v6.15-rc1 (note that v6.14-rc1 is going to be released tomorrow, meaning 6.15-rc1 is 6-8 weeks away)
<xdarklight>
f_: maybe dr_mode = "otg" is better in that case (assuming they have routed the external pins to the actual OTG port)?
<f_>
I had to find a USB hub that was happy with that because not all USB hubs I have were happy with me supplying power directly to one of their USB-A ports
<f_>
xdarklight: I could try
<f_>
this setup only works in u-boot and mainline.. I suppose Android's devicetree isn't setup for that (but haven't looked much into it)

BTW, before merging the final patches (I suppose narmstrong might be the one merging them) it would be nice to wait for some testers to test on their variants?
<f_>
I have Cc'd knuxify & exkc for this purpose, as I only own the third and final variant of the board
<narmstrong>
Of course :-)
<f_>
and knuxify owns the other 2 variants.. although they both run Android 9 so booting mainline might be a little bit more challenging.
<f_>
narmstrong: great! Thanks :)
<f_>
I'll send a v2 in a few hours then, after tweaking the DT a bit :)
<f_>
I think software-wise all 3 should behave mostly the same, apart from Wi-Fi which is a completely different story
