narmstrong: have you tried the latest android-amlogic-bmeson-5.15 branch? I get a NPE during mmc_probe
<narmstrong>
gbisson: NPE ?
<gbisson>
narmstrong: not really an exception but a null pointer at least ;)
<narmstrong>
gbisson: not sure about the state of the 5.15 branch honestly
<gbisson>
narmstrong: ok, I'll look into it
<gbisson>
it was working fine before I updated
<gbisson>
it was 5.15.7
<gbisson>
now 5.15.14
<tolszak>
narmstrong: I;ve never used github before and pull requests, so quick question. All the fixes/changes you asked should go as separate commits and after it is ok it will be merged as one big commit to origin?
<tolszak>
narmstrong: Or perhaps there is some another way of updating the commit (like gerrit has) without force push
<tolszak>
Anyways, will update that 2morrow thanks for review
<narmstrong>
tolszak: this is the right way, force push is the way on github

narmstrong: ok so it wasn't mmc specific, all the dma alloc would fail, here is when I disabled all the mmc: https://termbin.com/02jt
<gbisson>
narmstrong: turns out it was due to an Android patch, after a revert it's all good again: "ANDROID: arm64/mm: Add command line option to make ZONE_DMA32 empty"
