<tdebrouw> narmstrong: I see you have 2 branches: g12-dsi-wip & g12-dsi
<tdebrouw> which one should I try?
<gbisson> v5.18/g12-dsi-wip looks like the latest
<gbisson> narmstrong: FYI in my case I can have both HDMI and DSI enabled in the dtb, only one is working at a time but it's easy to switch from one to the other with weston.ini
<gbisson> narmstrong: another FYI, when building for Android (clang) I had to get rid of 2 warnings: https://termbin.com/b7sa
<tdebrouw> ok. thanks.
<tdebrouw> gbisson: do you have a functional build for android for the a311d? Is it publicly available?
<tdebrouw> do you have accelerated video decoding / encoding?
<narmstrong> gbisson: thx for the infos !
<narmstrong> I disabled HDMI to speed up boot when testing dsi

<gbisson> for tdebrouw when he comes back: I do have a working android build, it's mainly AOSP yukawa + building kernel script which can be found here: https://github.com/boundarydevices/android-manifest/tree/boundary-aml-android-12.0.0
<gbisson> and no it doesn't include accelerated video decoding
<gbisson> narmstrong: no problem. Can I ask why you disabled the debugfs entries as well?

<tolszak> narmstrong: Even with alsa state properly set I still got plenty of: "fe.dai-link-1: ASoC: dpcm_fe_dai_prepare() failed (-22)" in dmesg. Any idea how to clear this out?
buzzmarshall has joined #linux-amlogic
<jbrunet> "fe.dai-link-1" It means you are trying to open pcm1 / frddr_b and you have a valid path to an output for it - Either set a path to an ouput or don't open it
