<Nulo> Is there a way for foot to dim everything when unfocused? Would such a feature be taken upstream?
<dnkl> Nulo: there's an old branch, unfocused-alpha, that does just that. But, it was a hack, and is no longer being kept up to date
<dnkl> it's a feature better suited for the compositor, and thus I don't intend to merge anything like that to foot
<w0rm> I was about to say that at least some of the compositors have that option (or can be scripted to do that)
<dnkl> hopefully it will return to river in the future :)
<Nulo> Onto #river then!

<ifreund> suckless has just released an actually quite useful looking library, looks like it could replace libutf8proc for foot if desired
<ifreund> not that libutf8proc is the worst dependency to have in the first place
