12:14 <farkuhar> r0ni: I got surf to compile after changing the soversions of webkit2gtk and webkit2-web-extension in config.mk (and the prefix, of course). I used my port of webkitgtk-41 which is built against gtk3 and soup3, but maybe it would also work with the webkitgtk package that jaeger provided. It's something for kh1b to try, anyway, in the absence of enough RAM for a custom webkit build.

17:10 <farkuhar> kh1b: the missing JavaScript.h was not a roadblock in my case (webkitgtk-41), but I can see why your system with webkitgtk(-60) would be missing that header. If I find a way to host the built webkitgtk-41 package, I'll share it with you. In the meantime, see if you can find a more capable machine for compiling a custom webkit.
