<tim> meowuwunyan It's not in ports because none of the ports maintainer seem to use it/care to put it into ports.
<cruxbridge>
<tim> It's possible some user might have a port for it and you can find it via portsdb if their repository is in there. Your mileage may vary in terms of "being up2date" etc.
<cruxbridge>
<tim> Other than that: CRUX is a very hands on distro, meaning if you are missing some software, feel free to create your own ports repository and maintain it there
<cruxbridge>
<tim> and fwiw: I am currently mostly using sway, and right now on this machine that I am using plasma 6

This sounds cool :-)

seriuosly a poppler update a day after a libreoffice update... what a sick joke
<uwunyanpurr>
In order to use Crux GNU/Linux I have to compile every single program I use daily X3

uwunyanpurr, that's the fun of it
<farkuhar>
as tim says, CRUX is a very hands on distro. Each user gets to decide the appropriate frequency for applying updates. For some users, that might be every day; others can wait weeks or months between updates.
