DIdn't expect my 8TB drive to get full so fast
<SiFuh>
Will have to convert all the videos into something more compact
<ppetrov^>
some preferred codec?
<ppetrov^>
or they are already 264/265
<SiFuh>
The most compact
<ppetrov^>
what is the most compact?
<SiFuh>
Sonarr downloads new episodes. I have adjusted the size limit to go for the smallest. However I have adjusted to go for larger if cannot find the smallest. So naturally a season like South Park 15 with 14 episodes will be about 28 gigs in size
<SiFuh>
Since these days most people upload huge videos and they are usually the first available
<SiFuh>
Something like -vcodec libx265 -crf 28
<SiFuh>
Should be able to bring the size of a video from 2GB to about 150mb
<SiFuh>
Cool, that worked
<SiFuh>
1.1G -> 136M and no noticeable difference
<ppetrov^>
sounds good
<SiFuh>
Yeah it was 15.3GB in size for Season 15 and now it is 2GB in size
<SiFuh>
ppetrov^: By the way, on usenet I found a copy of the movie, but it was avi and was very bad quality and not in English. I wonder if it is the same one you have on DVD :-P
<ppetrov^>
the one I got was an AVI, 900MB, but in English
<ppetrov^>
terrible quality
<SiFuh>
1019M Aug 24 2020 Dadah bedeutet Tod.avi
<ppetrov^>
no, different
<SiFuh>
Yeah. Youtube was much better than this
<ppetrov^>
i have a friend in Australia and told him to keep an eye for it
<SiFuh>
Yeah, I will ask a few as well
<ppetrov^>
he said even to this day, some Aussies still try to smuggle in malaysia
<SiFuh>
There are ways but they all seem to do it the wrong way
<ppetrov^>
or at least the ones we hear about, do it the wrong way
<SiFuh>
The ones you don't hear about have never been caught
<ppetrov^>
that's what i meant
<SiFuh>
I have friends that are pirates west of Melacca. These guys just powerboat accross the straights without any issues between Indonesia and Malaysia
<ppetrov^>
real pirates, eh
<SiFuh>
The most suprising news though was they have mobile phone signals everywhere between Malaysia and Indonesia
<SiFuh>
Yeah real pirates. The kind with speed boats and twin engines.
<ppetrov^>
geez
<ppetrov^>
well, i guess GSM coverage is awesome there...
<ppetrov^>
or do they use satellite phones
<SiFuh>
I have a satellite phone
<SiFuh>
They use 3G and 4G
<SiFuh>
I use Thuraya, but the signal is very bad in the jungle. Have to stand out in the open and have a rather clear sky.
<ppetrov^>
there's jungle where you live?
<SiFuh>
The guy who I sent the youtube link to from team 666 or whatever they called themselves is the one who told me about the phone coverage. He isn't a pirate though. He is going fishing in Indonesian waters and selling the fish in Malaysia to make money after the fake pandemic.
<SiFuh>
ppetrov^: Yeah, Malaysia is/was mostly Jungle.
<SiFuh>
Being logged like no tomorrow. Apparently trees are bad for the environment because of CO2 but good for making money. All the land is being turned into oil palm forrests. Which is horrible to be honest
<ppetrov^>
yes, i have seen documentaries
<ppetrov^>
why says trees are bad because of co2
<ppetrov^>
wtf
<ppetrov^>
people apparently forget about the dark phase of photosynthesis
<ppetrov^>
when CO2 is converted to carbohydrates, aka food
<SiFuh>
It's too much CO (Carbon Monoxide) in the air, then lead in the fuel, and then the world will have a new ice age because of man, and the sea levels will rise because ice caps will melt, then not enough water, there is a hole in the ozone layer, to the world is warming up and we need some European school girl to bitch and cry on TV about it, then they just thought fsck this shit, lets just 'climate change' it
<SiFuh>
covers every lying base of ours.
<ppetrov^>
that's a long talk...
<SiFuh>
This entire CO2 crap is just stupid. When I was a kid if was CO and now it is CO2
<ppetrov^>
climate change is an issue, but there's so much hypocrisy
<ppetrov^>
CO is quite different
<ppetrov^>
k, have to go
