20:48 <d1b2> <dannas> SDS1000xe series oscilloscopes transfers waveforms with a small header prefixed. The SDS2000/SDS5000 scopes has separate commands for retrieving metadata that describes how the data should be parsed, and a command for actually retrieving the data.

21:34 <d1b2> <dannas> Those SCPITtransport::FlushRXBuffers not implemented debug prints are annoying. I should comment those out. And I should enable the tracing printouts for the SiglentSCPIOscilloscope class so that I can see how long time the retrieval of each fram takes.
