<jetpackjackson>
I'm using 0.18.1-1 (arch linux) but I also have wlroots-git installed from when I was building dwl
<jetpackjackson>
I'll go open the issue
<jetpackjackson>
Would the git version of wlroots affect it?
<ifreund>
jetpackjackson: well, river only supports wlroots 0.18, not master
<jetpackjackson>
Alright
<jetpackjackson>
I'll remove the git version to be safe then
<ifreund>
I dont think it would matter, it uses a different pkg-config name now
<jetpackjackson>
Ah gotcha
<jetpackjackson>
Ok that makes sense cause wlroots 0.18.1 says river depends on it (output of pacman -Qi)
<jetpackjackson>
Alright the issue is posted

Hi y'all! So, I've bought an external 14 inch screen with a touch screen. I want to use it vertically and I was able to configure the output correctly
<szgy>
buuut, the touchscreen is still detected as if the screen were horizontal
<szgy>
is there a way to 'rotate' the input device through input configuration? I saw that sway has smth like 'rotation matrix' as an input param, but it doesn't seem that river supports that?
<ifreund>
szgy: you need to map-to-output the Touchscreen input
<ifreund>
that should work, if not its a river bug

hello. I was wondering if you had any pointers on how to setup a virtual display for river? I wish to use my (android) tablet as a 3rd monitor, and I figured remote access was the easiest way to do this. But I can't see anything online todo this
