can i ask about waylock here? i'm using waylock with sway (sway, waylock and wlroots are all at the latest commit). when i enter a wrong password and then the correct one, the red screen stays. when i go to another tty, i can't see waylock in `ps aux | grep waylock`

I think we do still have a "lingering surface" bug. Some GTK applications trigger it every other week for me. Maybe this is the same?

it's weird: sometimes when exiting some GTK things, their surfaces "linger" around. River then refuses to switch to an empty tag. Spawning a new window or switching to tags with windows fixes it.

I've sometimes seen lingering foot windows after a foot crash. very rare though

sounds like a damage tracking bug that's triggerd by a race condition on clients exiting
