teepee: Docker Hub approved our OSS application. See email
<teepee>
thanks, just saw the mail poping up
<teepee>
hmm, free auto builds :)
<teepee>
not sure they know what they are getting themselves into with that
<teepee>
I'm just upgrading MXE :D
<teepee>
it seems to build with Manifold already. did you see that conversation?
<teepee>
kintel: I'll have a look at the readme and extend if neccessary

<Andy-pants>
kintel: That's awesome news! Does that mean we'll see official OpenSCAD images in the future?
<kintel>
teepee: I saw some Manifold discussion but haven't had time to look into it..
<kintel>
Andy-Pants: We're really only doing build/test support images right now. Official binary image could be interesting, but I have no idea how GPU and UI features translate to Docker..
<Andy-pants>
kintel: GPU and UI access is interesting, but doable. However, at the very least having access to the CLI would be handy. :)
<kintel>
Yeah, we may have the compute resources available now to automatically build some standard images more often
<Andy-pants>
But, TBH I haven't had a chance to tinker with the current openscad/openscad images, but that's one of the next adventures I'm going to embark on in the near future

teepee: Yeah I saw that gist - that's amazing stuff. I want to get my hands on it at some point, so I can try and break it :)
<teepee>
kintel: MXE builds should be good to run currently for just giving them a 5 minute spin (hopefully remain so after I pushed the MXE update :-)
<teepee>
kintel: also see docker link ^ for the official images back to 2015.03

teepee: What in the world. Those are some faaaast numbers.
