Hey @rcurtin I had a question regarding my project (revamping mlpack bindings). While writing the proposal there are certain things (such as changing documentation) that I am not exactly sure how I will finally end up implementing (because during any sort of refactoring there can be certain errors or problems that can arise and we cannot know exactly beforehand). What should I do in this case?

Hello @ABD-01 , the best place to get started will be to get your hands dirty with the codebase, give a shot at a couple of good first issues to get the hang of the workflow and then you may focus on whatever you feel like doing. Let us know if you need any help. :)

So, I went through the codebase and in src/mlpack/methods, though there are several algorithms, but for boosting I could only one method which is Adaboost( Sorry, if I am wrong on this). So, I wanted to propose to work on other boosting algorithm implementations for including Xgboost, GradienBoosting, CatBoost and Light GBM. So if any mentor is interested in this idea , we can discuss further. Thank you.
