The arma::mat.load() is defined in armadillo and i think only works for loading integers or floats, it cannot handle strings or categorical variables. The other one is defined inside mlpack and can handle strings or categorical vars by using `DatasetMapper` class.

ABHINAVANAND[m]: Hello, quite some interesting layers, so yeah I think that could make a great addition and GSoC project; that said since the program is going to be shorter this year this might be too much work, so I would probably cut it down a bit.
