<tmlind>
freemangordon: i tested with v6.12 on d4 flashing once and it worked, will try also on mz617 at some point
<tmlind>
see the patch for instructions, you need only bp.img for mdm6600 repackaged into a zip file
<tmlind>
hmm need to find also the phy-cpcap-usb patch for bp mode since sounds like you're using it for ofono, just muxes the lines so mdm6600 is routed to the micro-a connector
<tmlind>
freemangordon: looks like no changes were needed for the wakeirq, did not check if something needs to be added for the mdm9600 on mz617..

<dsc_>
not important
<tmlind>
freemangordon: update-binary 3 1 ${file} then have to restart the modem a few times by reloading the ohci-platform and the mdm6600 phy driver
<tmlind>
bbl later today
<freemangordon>
did it
<freemangordon>

hmm, still something weird
<freemangordon>
I wonder if minicom does strange things
<freemangordon>
oh, usbtty4 behaves weird without SIM
<freemangordon>
even basic commands are refused
<Wizzup>
freemangordon: yay
<Wizzup>
freemangordon: maybe this needs to go on the wiki
<inky>
Wizzup: i can give you my 6.11 config for pinephone, would you update the kernel then?
<inky>
(i use megi's kernel orangepi bratch, that's the correct branch to use for pinephone)
<inky>
megi said so

tmlind: ok, I suspect also some PEBCAK
<freemangordon>
or combination of 3 things:
<freemangordon>
that command I issued is switching to some strange echo mode, but I also didn;t have SIM card and that seems to disable most of the commands (including AT&V)
<freemangordon>
and on top of that, either minicom or kernel queue some data and send it to the modem on reconnect
<freemangordon>
Wizzup: never edited wiki, not sure I want to waste time on that now
<freemangordon>
tmlind: anyway, seems AT interface supports +CMUX
