<freemangordon> ok, purple-fb receives "error_code":405,"error_msg":"User must verify their account on www.facebook.com (405)"
<freemangordon> so they mandated 2fa
<freemangordon> Wizzup: I am going to look at how TP is supposed to handle that

<Wizzup> I think that is it, let me wake up
<inky> interesting, on my pinephone in /usr/share/hildon-desktop there is only a broken link shortcuts.ini which should point to shortcuts.ini.leste but that file does not exist. but i think everything works fine.

<inky> btw i fixed my issue with background not being dimmed by copying transisions.ini from pinephone.
<inky> and doing killall hildon-desktop.

<sicelo> mmm, Wizzup seems wiki is unhappy
<arno11> Wizzup: sicelo: uhm...i'm currently toying with telegram-desktop on n900...quite cpu intensive but messaging works, sending files works and...calling works
<arno11> ah, indeed wiki is down
Twig has joined #maemo-leste
<sicelo> yeah i've run it before. back then there were issues with the scrolling, but iirc it scrolls now
<arno11> indeed scrolling is smooth now
<arno11> the big surprise is calls and notifications
<sicelo> :-)
<sicelo> that calling works should be obvious - it's basically the native client, so does everything. same with the notifications. uses normal freedesktop stuff ;-)
<arno11> ok but i expected things to be buggy on low power n900 :P
<arno11> (telegram is cpu intensive only for a 1-2 min btw)
<sicelo> great. maybe the scroll issues i experienced in the past were just that 1-2 min issue
<arno11> ah yes maybe
<arno11> recent fmg buffer stuff (blur) probably helps as well
<sicelo> arno11: since you use/test N900 more than all of us here - what would you want to see implemented/fixed, say in next two weeks? :p
<sicelo> not difficult stuff (e.g. OFF mode)
<sicelo> just trying to think what would be a simple improvement one could work on to celebrate 15-years of the N900. i still have very limited time these days
<arno11> i see
<arno11> at the moment, no idea lol
<sicelo> hehe, it's in close-to-perfect state ;-)
<sixwheeledbeast> is there a plan to improve the look of sphone dialler? Would be nice if it was similar to fremantle. Not sure if that's simple?
<arno11> oh what a great idea !
<sicelo> i want USSD ... but not sure i will have the time to work on sphone
<sixwheeledbeast> IMO it's the phone, contacts and messaging parts in leste that feel too clunky compared to fremantle for me to commit to trying it daily.
<sicelo> sixwheeledbeast: N900 or Droid 4?
<sixwheeledbeast> n900
Twig has quit [Remote host closed the connection]
<arno11> sicelo: ussd or/and dtmf could be nice
<arno11> for 2025, portrait mode (at least for sphone) could be a great target
<arno11> and/or bluetooth and fmrx
<arno11> :P
<sicelo> i know it's not maemo, but was nice to catch up a little bit with Jebba last week in Mobian chat room. he was one of the early ofono testers on n900,
<sicelo> arno11: portrait mode on N900 is stuck due to some GPU problem. i guess fmg could fix it, but time :-)
<arno11> yeah :)
<sicelo> bluetooth, sigh. i do want it badly as well ... well not bluetooth itself, but the fmrx. Unfortunately the latter requires the former
<arno11> indeed...
<arno11> same for me (fmrx)
<sixwheeledbeast> is dtmf package from fremantle useful?
<sicelo> i think something of dtmf has been started for sphone ... at least there's src/modules/gui/gtk2/ui-dtmf-gtk.c
<sixwheeledbeast> ussd was never included with fremantle initially, I believe a package ended up in extras for it eventually. fortunately we don't need it too much with our operators.
<sicelo> by PR1.3, the stock phone application had ussd working fine. and operators In my part of the world use ussd a lot, which is why i have love-hate relationship with the Droid 4, where ofono doesn't yet have ussd working at all (even from cli), and even under Android is flakey
