dnkl: I'm not sure, I'm not doing the encoding for osc52, tmux presumably is, and foot seems to be receiving it from tmux each time and foot's output shows that it is decoded properly.. but foot (?) isn't setting the clipboard. I responded to the bug

ugh, the problem is using clipman.

I guess it results in a separate serial being sent to wlr because it steals focus(?) or something that I don't really understand. but removing it from the equation gets things working again with tmux/foot/osc52. just sucks I have to sacrifice clipboard 'persistence'

it's not clipman either, I can reproduce it with wl-clipboard, just by running `wl-paste -pw wl-copy` and then trying to copy using osc52 w/ tmux. anyways,I'm not sure this is foot's fault (or who/what to blame..)

I have another system running sway/foot/tmux on alpine linux, and can't reproduce it there either. wtf
