<tmpm697> hi all
<tmpm697> I'm using alacritty but considering a switch to foot as I observe some weird issue with it.
<tmpm697> but the only concern is color in foot look different with alacritty
<tmpm697> so I want to ask why and is foot support true color and able to display whatever color alacritty can able to?

<sterni> dnkl: where did you take all the energy required to implement all those escape sequences from
<sterni> crazy how many there are
<dnkl> sterni: one at a time... 🙂
<sterni> seems like quite the chore

<dnkl> sterni: have you been reading the ctlseq man page? :)
<sterni> dnkl: yeah while checking what I may want to implement as well
<sterni> since I'm almost done with SGR sequences now which I was looking at EMCA-48 for mostly
<sterni> although the man page was helpful for the truecolor thing
<sterni> I haven't quite figured out what to do with the color space argument yet though
<dnkl> sterni: me neither, but also haven't tried that hard to figure it out ..
<sterni> > If the first parameter element has the value 2, 3, or 4, the second parameter element specifies a colour space identifierreferring to a colour space definition in the document profile.
<sterni> dnkl: oh apparently 2 also may have up to 8 arguments in total
<sterni> after the rgb value two extra values related to tolerance

<sterni> erm
<sterni> lol
