<Eighth_Doctor> rwmjones: on bringing RISC-V into the main Koji?
<Eighth_Doctor> or just uplifting to a new Fedora version?
<rwmjones> Eighth_Doctor: the new version of Fedora, no chance of adding RISC-V to main Koji for several years
<rwmjones> fedora koji is down :-(
<Eighth_Doctor> rwmjones: what about as a normal shadow koji?
<Eighth_Doctor> like what we used to do for secondary arches?

<davidlt[m]> Conan Kudo: We did attempt it many years ago, but didn't really like what it was doing. I am not sure how it works with modularity and all these side tags.
<davidlt[m]> Some time ago I was looking into writing my own thing based on Fedora messaging stuff as it has everything what's needed.
<davidlt[m]> I can look into Koji, Bodhi, etc. events.
<davidlt[m]> Until there is a proper hardware performance wise and design wise I doubt we would be part of main Koji.
<davidlt[m]> Not to mention lack of standards (psABI, Profiles, Platforms, OS-A SEE, etc.)
<davidlt[m]> It will take more time until we get standards compliant hardware (whatever that is at a time).
<davidlt[m]> Horse Creek SoC with P550 (the 1st OoO core) with Intel 4 (aka 7nm)
<davidlt[m]> Market is crazy so who knows exactly when this happens.
<davidlt[m]> Lead times for some components are crazy (even 1+year).
<davidlt[m]> BeagleBoards got delayed :(
<davidlt[m]> Hopefully at least StarFive manages to get their boards out this year.

<davidlt[m]> The short term goal is to catch up to F37/Rawhide with as-is setup. At that point we most likely will need to look into how to expand things/to do them better.

<edolnx> I don't expect the new SiFive boards to be OS-A SEE either. No one has any AIA blocks available yet, it's all still the SiFive PMIC
