<davidlt[m]> oh yes, 5.18.3 will be bigger
<davidlt[m]> Seems that valgrind porting continues: https://github.com/petrpavlu/valgrind-riscv64/commits/riscv64-linux
<davidlt[m]> I think I will attempt to get audit upstreamed again

<davidlt[m]> rwmjones: I wonder if it's worth starting a thread on mailing list regarding secondary arch status without catching up to F37. What's your opinion?
<rwmjones> davidlt[m]: I'm sure the answer's going to be a big no?
<davidlt[m]> Yeah, but we need to figure out the plan.
<rwmjones> well sure, start the thread, but don't expect anyone to be happy if we're still on f33
<rwmjones> (..is my feeling)
<davidlt[m]> I agree. Just wondering if I could jump into the future :)
<davidlt[m]> I think we need to catch up to F37 first.
<davidlt[m]> I think we could do hardware native builds too. I think that shouldn't be that big an issue within 6-12 months or to some degree now.
<davidlt[m]> Of course not to mention the biggest issue from all: no psABI spec, no Profiles spec, no Platforms spec, no OS-A SEE spec, [no AIA spec, no IOMMU spec, etc]
<davidlt[m]> I am really not worried about specs that would affect the "platform" like new interrupt controller or IOMMU stuff, as that is mostly drivers.
<davidlt[m]> Profiles + psABI is what defines our ISA baselines and binary compatibility.
<davidlt[m]> Like do we want to wait for specs before we attempt to become secondary arch?

<davidlt[m]> We are actually listed as alt. arch :) https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Architectures#Secondary_Architectures
<davidlt[m]> It's just we aren't part of the main Koji instance.

<davidlt[m]> rwmjones: I think, technically we could connect your Unmatched boards now.
<davidlt[m]> The current image (the older) seems to be holding for now without any major issues.
<davidlt[m]> Definitely works better than Unleashed boards.
<davidlt[m]> It will be a several days before 5.18.3-4 happens.

<davidlt[m]> It's so annoying to wait for the package to finish the build process (or fail)
<djdelorie> davidlt[m]: keep me in the loop too, I've an unmatched for koji
<davidlt[m]> djdelorie: I could generate and email you the certificate today/tomorrow

* nirik has a box here he really really should finish installing at which time it would be happy to be added to a koji.
<djdelorie> davidlt[m]: that would be great, thanks
<davidlt[m]> Note, that once v5.18.3-4 is out you will need to update again.
<davidlt[m]> But I need some more capacity nowish.
<djdelorie> ok
