<oaken-source> Hey, I'm having trouble bootstrapping rust for parabola on riscv. do you remember how you did it?
<rwmjones> oaken-source: when is "parabola"? is it possible you could cross-compile from the Fedora packages?
<rwmjones> I believe rust has a good cross-compilation story
<rwmjones> s/when/what/
<oaken-source> rwmjones: it's an arch-derivative distribution. you have helped me a lot in 2018 to set up a first riscv port of it, and I'm back working on it now :)
<oaken-source> I could use fedora packages, but ideally, I'd like to stick to our own ecosystem if possible
