<jaeger>
apropos of nothing the Fedora Sway live ISO thinks my NUC's CPU is running at 65273 degrees C
<SiFuh>
Heh
<SiFuh>
jaeger: What are using it for anyway?
<jaeger>
The NUC or PAM?
<SiFuh>
NUC
<jaeger>
Mostly as an HTPC
<jaeger>
Kodi, mpv, etc.
<SiFuh>
Ahh, I use OpenBSD for that
<SiFuh>
Flawless
<SiFuh>
NFS, Sonarr, Jackett, CUPS, Samba
<jaeger>
Yeah, I imagine openbsd would work fine for that
<SiFuh>
It's also the music player when I bottle beer.
<SiFuh>
Neighbours don't like it
<SiFuh>
sndiod has 200% increase
<SiFuh>
And I think I am the only white guy who listens to country here
<remiliascarlet>
People in #monero-offtopic about me using OpenBSD: "how does it feel like to be excluded from 99% of software?" Me: "as if I care that so much poorly written bloatware aren't available!"
<SiFuh>
remiliascarlet: Good point
<jaeger>
That sort of mocking I've never understood... if it does what you want it to, who cares what it doesn't do or have?
<SiFuh>
jaeger: True. I just ignored them since 2002. Then by about 2015 they started asking me about it. Kind of weird

Sorry I was unavailable for all that PAN discussion, long MIA. My assessment: CRUX was always what the developers will willing to distribute. That now includes PAM. If that doesn't work for you, fork CRUX. Either come up with your own version or find some other OS. Bottom line: CRUX is what the current developers distribute.
