<jaeger> The updated version seems to work, cool
<jaeger> OK, did anyone object to me putting that --format=gnutar change into pkgutils.git? If not I'll do that today in preparation for building a test ISO
<jaeger> I have only 2 3.7 systems currently (one VM and my laptop) but so far have not run into any issues caused by that
<beerman> i have tested --format=gnutar on basically anything in regards to go and it works well, has my thumbs up
<jaeger> ok, thanks. jue, romster?
<beerman> for me, this would close the open go ticket in the contrib queue
<jaeger> Added and tagged as pkgutils-5.40.9 - https://crux.nu/gitweb/?p=tools/pkgutils.git;a=commitdiff;h=1a32b7f940e03d1924a0020349c65cb377b08ed9
<jaeger> If jue and romster have no objections we can make a release from that
