stenur_ is now known as stenur
<stenur> My entropy_server.c did not fly here, but Jason Donenfeld has just recently written something similar that seems to have ended in systemd and Void and whatever, and now also busybox.
<stenur> I strongly vote for adding <https://git.zx2c4.com/seedrng/plain/seedrng.c> to core, and replacing "/bin/cat /var/lib/urandom/seed > /dev/urandom" in /etc/rc.
<stenur> Because _that_ is just an expensive useless noop, and will _not_ come back to functionality (he now maintainer of Linux random is).
<stenur> And how about adding before "/bin/mount -a -O no_netdev" "/bin/mount -a -O no_netdev -o remount" in /etc/rc? Like that /etc/fstab will be applied to /sys /proc /dev /run etc? core:filesystem's fstab could then also get four _good_ lines for the mentioned, after the _good_ line for devpts.
<stenur> (P.S.: it is entropy-saver.c. Good night.)
<stenur> Have i yet said that /etc/rc was formerly _good_?
<stenur> Aaah. What a miss!
<stenur> Good night.
