I am not sure if you are here but I chatted w/ you about a metal bender about two years back. Anyway, it is for a part of bent metal for the electronic mower managed by the BBBW. Anyway, I got it working.
<set_>
So, I am one step forward and two steps back so far. Getting Closer?
<set_>
Now, if I can figure out PWM on the BBBW along w/ some drivers in C/C++, I can finally finalize the C/C++ program.
<set_>
Anyway, that is where I am at currently on this green machine.
<set_>
It would be cool to have a starter too but I think I am going green on the green machine.
<set_>
Bent metal for manufacturing the build of the mechanical aspects, i.e. tensioner, belt, and idler.
<set_>
Yep.
<set_>
The instructions on this metal bender is, well. Horrible.
<set_>
It is the pits. Now, i can move on and make this mower more functional.

The only issue so far is the PWM on the BBBW, the tensioner clamp is too big (larger in diameter than 10mm), and I need to lengthen some wiring.
<SJFriedl>
I do a little bit of Fusion 360 3D modeling, and I know they have a "sheet metal" mode, but I don't know anything about it. I hope you find what you're looking for here.

PWM!

I am looking for chat only. I enjoy BBB based ideas, the education part to it all, and just building random things.

i was trying to build around the repliCape recently but the mfg. of the Cape are no longer building the boards/Capes.
<set_>
Luckily, Seeed Studios produced a Cape a long time ago, the MotorCape is still around, and who knows? I may just build some more Earthly green machines.
<set_>
i was watching the replay of the Open Hardware Summit. Odd but intriguing. I liked the effort those people do to produce better filaments in Open Source/Hardware ideas. They were helping to produce pellet printing (not just filament) and also awkward sized chip/fragment printing.
<set_>
That is neat.
<set_>
I could just chip and chop a bunch of plastics and shove in down the extruder...Ha. Neat.
<set_>
And all their work is done in the light of day...Open Source and Open Hardware (for their type of extruder).
<set_>
I usually, SJFriedl, just build w/out notation. awkward and costly as it sounds, it is pleasing. I just rip it apart to the bare minumum when things do go awkward and get costly. Then, to the next depot to try a new, fun build.
<set_>
Some work and some do not. But, the BBB as the brains has me jumping in the make more.
<set_>
Now, if those damn people in our city would stop bashing me for building things. If. I could then try in the publics' eyes and build for future endeavors.
<set_>
anyway...if people are bored. I will stop typing. Done for now!
