tagr_: do you really can't find the "Tegra kernel patches for 5.17" email? I sent it out on 04.12.2021, 20:05; I also replied to it on 08.12.2021, 20:48 and 10.12.2021, 20:22
<digetx>
it must be in your thierry.reding@gmail.com inbox
<digetx>
I'll post the contents here if you can't find it
<tagr_>
I have that email, what I didn't find was the Hannstar display patch
<tagr_>
but yeah, I can't take the panel patches through the Tegra tree, it needs to go through the DRM tree
<digetx>
alright, could you please ack those display patches?
<digetx>
I missed to do that when was rebasing patches and noticed only by now
<digetx>
you still adding that t114 timer patch; if software works on h/w without a need for changes, then that's what is named compatibility; if you'll remove "nvidia,tegra114-timer" compat from t114.dtsi and kernel will work fine on t114 with that change, then h/w is compatible with t20
<DavidHeidelberg>
digetx: tagr_ I don't particulary mind the authorship of that commit ;-) if you can easily do it, good, if not, feel free to keep it as is
<DavidHeidelberg>
tagr_: maybe we can work on shared WIP repo for dt-bindings stuff? I already have the github `dt_bindings` branch, but if it would make sense for you, I can give you access or if you give me access somewhere where I can push not-yet-upstreamed commits or also improve yours, I would be glad

tagr_: could you please ping me once you'll finish merging all the patches so that I could take a look and check that everything is merged properly before you'll send out PRs?
<digetx>
won't be easier to create a single power-management branch and merge it all via the arm tree? I'm not sure how you're going to split it all up properly
<digetx>
you can factor out bindings and DT changes, but not the code, unless you'll create immutable branch or something
