<digetx> DavidHeidelberg: you may use https://dpaste.com/2CFYGUXKL.txt for v2
<digetx> omg, why "drm/tegra: dc: rgb: Move PCLK shifter programming to CRTC" in next now? it supposed to be in 5.16
<digetx> tagr: do you have any other unapplied patches?
<digetx> ah, I see now that previous PR wasn't pulled
<digetx> drm PR
<digetx> the TC bridge patches also missed previous PR
<digetx> but it's in drm-misc-next, so should be applied this time

<DavidHeidelberg> digetx: incorporated your part of patch, should I put also your S-off-by on it?
<digetx> add my reviewed-by
<DavidHeidelberg> ok
<DavidHeidelberg> also about that `"^panel@[0-3]$":` I would make it `panel@[0-1]`, since we have only panel@1, but we could assume there would be panel@0 in future?
<DavidHeidelberg> or do you think it would be better to "hardcode it" to `panel@1`
<digetx> what panel? you don't need to add it anymore
<digetx> just use my v2 patch, you don't no need to add anything else there
<digetx> panel is defined in the dsi-controller.yaml
<DavidHeidelberg> you didn't removed the patternProperties with panel@ in v2 patch. I did now, I'll just re-run CI
<digetx> that patch isn't made on top of your v1
<digetx> if you'll get error from checker, then that's because you need to patch dtschema to get working unevaluatedProperties
<DavidHeidelberg> I haven't found link to v2 in history, can u reference?
<digetx> I mean that my v2 diff is the complete change that you should use instead of your v1
<digetx> no, you just need to update the commit message and use my diff, add my r-b
<digetx> remove #address-cells and #size-cells and it will be okay
<DavidHeidelberg> oh right, I got it. I just had to apply what you sent on clear tree, not the previous patch
<digetx> yes
<DavidHeidelberg> sorry, my brain is off today
<digetx> please also don't add log to the commit message, you should add it to the formatted patch after ---
<digetx> tagr: how are you going to manage the DPAUX patches?
<tagr> fwiw, it should be fine to add the changelog to the commit like that, git am will strip it away when applying
<tagr> although it can sometimes get in the way when you do cherry-picks
<tagr> digetx: I'm still looking into a proper fix for that DPAUX issue
<digetx> --- shouldn't cut off the s-o-bs at least
<digetx> tagr: we don't need proper fix right now, we need a simple and backportable fix, you will be able to change it later on
<tagr> I'm pretty sure the proper fix will also be simple and backportable and won't require making a mess and then untangling it again
<tagr> and, honestly, this has now been broken for what, 4 releases? so we're not exactly in a hurry
<DavidHeidelberg> digetx: I know, I just keep it before sending in commit msg before S-off-by's
<tagr> oh... heh, didn't realize that it was before the sign-offs
<tagr> I often keep the log with the scissor line below the sign-offs, that way the sign-offs stay in the right place and git format-patch will still include the changelog (though it will add another scissor line, which then looks slightly off)
<tagr> odd even
