<dnkl> any chance river can bump its implementation of the xdg_wm_base interface to v5?
<dnkl> (v5 adds wm-capabilities)
<ifreund> dnkl: I've been meaning to take a look at it but have been dragging my feet as I think that migrating to the wlroots scene graph will make implementing v3 which adds popup repositioning easier
<ifreund> maybe that's not entirely true though, I should look into the details
<dnkl> no rush. And migrating to scene graph should take priority, imho
<ifreund> dnkl: yeah, migrating to the scene graph is at the top of my river todo list right now
<ifreund> probably need to do one last 0.2 patch release though I'll wait another week or so for more bug reports to trickle in

<andrea> Is the stream over or are you taking a break?
<ifreund> andrea: back on now :)
<novakane> 86 additions and 1020 deletions for the scene commits tonight, isn't that nice
<ifreund> novakane: still a lot of code to add back, but yeah it should end up a net negative I think :D
<ifreund> the current scene graph patch set for sway is +2442, −4231 for reference
<ifreund> river probably won't have quite as large a differential since we don't implement full damage tracking currently
<novakane> oh, that's really nice, well if everything still works :P
<waleee> was full damage tracking was one of the main benefits of using the scene graph stuff?
<waleee> s/was//2
<novakane> yep
