<edrex[m]> @leon-p it looks like river-tags-overlay might not compile on aarch64-linux:
<edrex[m]> i haven't tried on my own hw yet, but figured I'd check with you to see if it's something obvious
<edrex[m]> should probably just file a bug on your repo instead of making noise here.

<lordmzte> hmm, has anyone experienced java swing GUIs running under river not resizing when i resize the window?
<lordmzte> the content of the window just stays the same size, like the application isn't getting resize events.

<n0r> LordMZTE ⚡️: Afaik that's the program not being made to handle different sizes, not a compositor/wm side thing. Some programs just assume they live in a floating wm and will never be resized.
<lordmzte> that's not the case. the window is both resizable, and resizes properly on i3wm on X
<lordmzte> so i assume its some configuration problem on my setup (or just java being garbage)
<tleydxdy[m]> java resize has always been jank imo

<NickH> I rember fighting with it 10 years ago running SeeVogh/Evo under awesomewm.
<NickH> Had to set the magic environment variable _JAVA_AWT_WM_NONREPARENTING=1
<lordmzte> NickH: ah thanks! ill try that tomorrow!
