01:50 <sverona> NickH: was sway, been hopping since. tried dwm again --- didn't want to go through the hassle of implementing the ewmh features i needed. xmonad will frustrate me eternally until i learn a haskell. spectrwm was good but doesn't manage bars properly. i loved wmfs for a couple years, can't remember why i left it, might've been the state of the docs at the time

01:52 <sverona> tbh i have come around to the wayland way of thinking --- it is *so* much easier to just Configure All The Things in one or two places rather than carrying around a big hassle to manage bars like the one that ships with bspwm
