<anniehallmoon> Hey guys is there an away to get a list of outputs (monitors) ?
<anniehallmoon> I can only seem to find a list-inputs option on riverctl ...
<leon-p> anniehallmoon: not with riverctl, you'll have to use a client for the output management protocol
<leon-p> try wlr-randr
<leon-p> generally the idea is to keep riverctl as simple as possible and rely on dedicated clients and protocol extensions for more or less everything
<leon-p> the list-inputs and list-input-configs are a bit of an overstep IMO, but currently unavoidable
<anniehallmoon> Thanks ! That's what I wanted, btw is there any other option to set the keyboard layout ?
<anniehallmoon> Maybe inside the river init ?
<anniehallmoon> (And is there someone here how could share their config ) ?
<leon-p> no, currently the only way to set kb layout is via the env vars
<anniehallmoon> Thanks, will help a lot :)
<anniehallmoon> I will create a function to auto launch river on tty2 then because writing XKB_LAYOUT every time is kinda troublesome for me
<leon-p> you could also just put it into your .profile
<anniehallmoon> Well I am going to steal that launch script, it's amazing.
<anniehallmoon> leon-p: you are right thanks !

<antaxiom> Hello
<antaxiom> I've been having an odd issue with river lately and I haven't seen any info on it so I was wondering if anyone was open to helping, it's likely an issue specific to my system. I don't mean to "ask to ask", but I don't wish to spam this irc further.
