Save a PORJECT file that is basically just a list of files that is inside the project SO When I open the project file it willl automatically open all the files in that list.

22:47 <Scopeuk> short of embedding some sort of text or image I am not aware of anything natively in openscad which would allow this. it is possible that the multi colour export in the nightlys could be made to do it into one of the supported formats (using colour codes) but it's not a use case I have seen from anyone yet
